WLG Breakdown
Everybody's talking about AI taking jobs. Nobody's talking about AI making owners.
Same technology. Two completely different outcomes. The difference is what side of the tool you're standing on.
Here's what happened while everybody was arguing online: the cost of building dropped through the floor. A website, a product, a whole system — things that used to take a team and a loan now take a laptop and discipline. That's not a threat. That's the biggest transfer of leverage regular people have ever been handed.
But leverage only pays the people who grab it. If your whole plan is a job title and a paycheck, yeah — you should be nervous. The machine is coming for tasks. It is not coming for ownership. It can't. Ownership is a decision, and a decision can't be automated away from you. Only surrendered.
So here's the WLG read on it. Stop asking "will AI replace me?" and start asking "what do I own that AI can multiply?" A catalog. A brand. A customer list you actually control. A product with your name on it. That's the difference between people who use the wave and people who get used by it.
What to do this week: pick one thing you keep doing manually and let a tool carry it. Then take the hours you got back and put them into something you own. Don't confuse motion with progress — build the asset, not just the activity.
